1.              How do I know which glass shade to choose?

Please read our How To Measure page or look at our short informational video which explains how to measure and also shows some popular lamp styles and the shades they take.

2.            How long will it take to get my order?

Generally we try and ship orders within 3-4 days of receipt.  Depending on where you live in the country, it will take between 2-6 business days for either UPS or USPS to deliver.  If an item is not in stock when ordered, we will notify you and let you know approximately how long the delay will be in shipping.

3.            What do I do if my shade arrives broken?

We include detailed instructions in every package that tells you what to do in case of breakage.  You must notify us either by email or phone and save the broken glass and the box it came in for 5 business days so we can initiate a claim with the carrier.  We will send a replacement as soon as possible after we are notified.  VERY IMPORTANT:  DO NOT RETURN BROKEN GLASS TO US – just contact us so we can send a replacement.

4.            What do I do if the shade I order does not fit?

Detailed instructions for returns are included with every order.   Please re-package the shade carefully and send it back to us at the address on the instruction sheet.  Be sure the package is insured for its full value.  Shipping in either direction is not refundable but we will credit you for the value of the glass once we receive it.

5.            How much will it cost to ship my order?

A chart showing shipping charges can be found on our Shipping and Policies page.  Please be sure and make sure your shipping address is accurate.  UPS charges for any address corrections and this charge will be passed on to the customer if an incorrect address is given.  NYC addresses must include an apartment number.  More detailed information about international shipping can be found on the Shipping and Policies page.
